Nevada Baptist Convention

Welcome to Nevada Church Planting! We have been asking the Lord to send laborers into this harvest field for many years. You may be one answer to our prayers. Our desire is to help you clarify this call. Here’s what you can expect:

Step One
Please complete Lifeway’s church planter assessment.

A ministry assistant will contact you about getting to this assessment and answer any questions you might have about church planting in Nevada.

Step Two
Please take the following online assessments and submit the results to the Nevada Baptist Convention.

• Classic Keirsey Temperament Sorter
  
• PLACE online ministry assessment
  
• Clifton's StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment
  
  

These instruments enable assessors to objectively evaluate candidate’s readiness for church planting.

Step Three
Please permit a background check to be conducted by the Nevada Baptist Convention and submit a Personal Information Form to the Nevada Baptist Convention.

Step Four
After your assessments and background check have been received by the Nevada Baptist Convention, you and your wife will be invited by an Administrative Assistant to a church planting assessment interview.

Step Five
If recommended you will meet with your church plant support team to develop the budget and calendar for your church plant. Partner support will be coordinated during that meeting.
